About

Hello to you.

I am Nadja and I am glad that you come along.

I am a mom of two who would like a space to share her ideas, projects and imagination with you, and hope you will find it useful, interesting, questionable and would like to discuss it or suggest your solutions.

From my childhood I was fascinated with human hands. I drew numerous sketches on hands in different positions and for different reasons ballet dancer’s hand in position, catching of a ball position …. I am still fascinated with these tools which some of us are lucky to have in number two.

I used my hands in different ways through my life – they helped me climb trees, draw pictures, write letters, play piano, paint nails, paints walls, play games, plant, pick, tear, nurse and cuddle, snuggle, measure, create, lay the floor, plaster… type blog posts.

I love things hand made. But I also like things and people’s imagination and creativity.

Being from multi cultural background and growing up and living in mix cultural places like north of Kazakhstan, North of Caucasus (Stavropolskii Region of Russia), Germany in 2002-2005 and now the UK – a student town with large population of people whose roots are from Bangladesh and India- I do struggle with identity but am enriched with diversity and colours it brings with it.

I love tastes, looks, sounds and history of cultures and would like to share my experiences with those through my life experiences (mostly hand made once), work and travel. I would like also to try things for myself or with my family – be it from my past life or from what my new friends share with me or from other blogs – and share with you my thoughts on them.

I would be glad to hear your opinion as for some I might be a well travelled person but others I had seen just not enough as the world in not just EuroAsian continent and I’m afraid I did not left it further than the British Islands.
